How to get to Linh Phuoc pagoda?
To go to the temple you can follow the following instructions:
From Dalat market, you cross Ong Dao bridge to Tran Quoc Toan street, turn right at Ho Tung Mau street. Then continue going straight Tran Hung Dao Street, then Hung Vuong Street. Follow Highway 20 down the slope in Camp Mat, go about 800 m to the right to see the picture of Buddha Di Lac image. At about 70m you will see a strange temple made up of millions of bottles. This is your destination.

It opens daily from 8 a.m to 17 p.m. You should master the time not to lose the opportunity to visit this strange temple. History of Linh Phuoc pagoda
Linh Phuoc Pagoda is also known with the familiar name “Ve Chai pagoda”, because the pagoda was built from pieces of glass, ceramics through the hands of talented people. The pagoda is the most remarkable structure built in 1949 and completed in 1952. Over many stages of restoration, until 1990, under the abbot of Monk Thich Tam Vi, the pagoda was rebuilt and restored to this day. This is a unique architectural mosaic architecture in Da Lat, attracting many tourists and Buddhists to visit each year.
Impressive and unique architecture of Linh Phuoc pagoda
The first impression when you arrive at the temple is the yard with the image of a dragon flying with a length of 49 m, made up of 12,000 glass bottles looking very beautiful.
Next, you will be overwhelmed by the beauty of the main hall, where there are 2 rows of pebble mosaic mosaics and many intricate mosaic reliefs with the history of the Lotus Sutra and Shakyamuni. The top is the 27 meters high stupa.
In the central position inside the main hall is the statue of Buddha Shakyamuni made of concrete painted with a gold card of 4.9 meters high. Behind this statue is a bas-relief of Bodhi tree.
Next to the Main Hall is Long Hoa Vien with a picture of 49 meters long dragon winding around Maitreya Buddha image, dragon fins decorated from 12,000 bottles. Besides the landscape is small lake, rockery.
Another typical project of Linh Phuoc Pagoda is the 7-storey Linh tower. The tower has a height of 37 meters and is considered the tallest bell tower in Vietnam.
A unique project not to be missed when visiting Linh Phuoc Pagoda is the Bodhisattva statue made from immortal flowers. This Buddha image is made of 700,000 immortal flowers (2 tons of flowers) 17 meters high, completed on the occasion of Dalat Flower Festival 2010.
In addition to the unique works, at Linh Phuoc pagoda Dalat, there is also an area for displaying gemstones, antique ceramics and fine art wooden furniture. Especially, there are tables and chairs made of stump wood with 12 star signs recognized the largest in the country.
